GC is divine. I don’t get RG’s appeal. He looks very ordinary to me. And that shiny green suit with the matchy tie. Ew. How come that awful Countess Mara/Gentlemen’s Wearhouse tie didn’t get points off, Mr and Mr Say No to Matchy Shoes?

Mmmmm……I love Ryan. He is so cute in green.

The monochromatic look of Clooney is safe and tired though. Gosling, all monochromatic in green, is unexpected (perhaps a bit too much green?)  I rather like it though….especially like his tie.

Gosling does not populate my self-touching world; too blandly pretty. I do enjoy watching his fashion, though.

Clooney, OTOH…I’ll be in my bunk.

Sorry all!..just throw some eggs at me……While I think Gosling in dreamy, his suit looks ill fitting and wrinkled…Clooney is definitely a 10.

Whoo… is it getting warm in here?  And by “here” I mean, inside my clothes?  That is too much hotness to handle.  Clooney is just ridiculous, he keeps getting better looking the older he gets.  And Gosling is dreamy.

THAT is a lot of man on one stage.  I’m not that into Gosling but there’s no denying the heat, and Clooney – ’nuff said.

OK why is it that men always put their hands in their pockets and stretch out the front of their pants?  Is this part of the old adage “Man with hand in pocket not always counting change?”

True story: I though this feature of the site was called the Paris Division until today, when I looked closer at the title. I thought you were being cheeky with the title and that I just didn’t get the reference. Now, though, all I can think of them as is Paris Division posts.

George Clooney: catnip to this kitten.  AND he’s intelligent and committed to really important causes — see his work with Nicholas Kristoff of The New York Times in Africa, where contracted malaria in the process.  Yes, the Cary Grant for my generation, but with a lot more substance, which is always in style.

Oooh, that’s a whole lotta handsome in one place!

Ryan, I have had a crush on you since Young Hercules. There. I’ve said it.

Please!  I read “Pairs Division: Gosling and Clooney” and touched myself right then.  And again when I actually looked at the pics.  In real life, neither of these two are my ideal man (George closer than Ryan becasue he is older, grayer and a little beefier) but oh my, they are handsome men.

I think I must be hormonally deficient or something but neither of those men does a THING for me.

Particularly Ryan Gosling, who looks like a blond Alan Cumming in the second picture down, with neither the great sense of humour nor the fabulous dress sense.

I just…I can’t…I don’t even…SWOON.

It works because it’s a muted tone–it doesn’t read as flashy or Elton-John-y.

can’t say I ever went nuts over either of them but George is looking finer as he ages…

Personally, I don’t see what is so great about Ryan Gosling and standing him next to George Clooney just reinforces that.  Gosling just seems bland and boring to look at.  I don’t like that green suit either.  Now, George Clooney, there is a handsome man who is aging very well.

I would actually knock it down to a 9 for Ryan’s bad dye job and George’s lack of a tie – he always goes sans tie, it’d be nice to see him switch it up and actually wear one.

Actually, tbh it’s a 1 for them not actually making out with each other for the cameras, dammit. Ah, well, thank god TV hasn’t ruined my ability to imagine completely yet.
