In or Out: Selma Blair in Roland Mouret
Darlings, what do we all think of this look from Selma?

On the one hand, it’s a fabulous color and it has an interesting drape in the bodice. On the other hand, it’s a bit tight across her hips, those sleeves keep making us think she’s got a cardigan draped across her shoulders, and that interesting drape is looking more and more like a pile of laundry the longer we look at it. Also, while we’re happy to see she didn’t wear the red carpet-standard Silly Putty pumps, we fear these beigey-grey substitutes herald the next big shoe color choice for stylists. In other words, we have a feeling we’re going to see a LOT more of this non-color on red carpet footwear in the coming months. Still, they’re probably the right shoe for the dress. Hair’s just okay; makeup is ditto, and the jewelry is appropriately played down because bling wouldn’t work with a look like this. We’re kind of happy to turn the opinionating over to the Bitter Kittens, because we’re not entirely sure if we love this or not. We’ll say this: it’s a great color for the RC. No matter the dress, that’s a color that turns heads and looks good in pictures.
IN! Pretty and eyecatching!
OUT! SO not your dress, girl.
In previous Bitter Kitten news, the consensus on Madonna’s butterfly effect gown was IN (although many Kittens voted on her plastic surgery instead of her dress).
