In or Out: Mila Kunis in Elie Saab
If you showed us this picture without telling us when it was taken, we would have sworn it was from last year:
But since we saw it on the wires and knew it was from this week, we both said the same thing: “Why on earth is she working a Black Swan-inspired look now?” It’s a pretty dress, but when you pair it with headbands and strappy white shoes, it’s a pretty obvious ballerina look. What an odd choice for her to make – or to be made for her, whatever the case may be.
But let’s try and take it on the merits. The shoes? Hate them. Really hate them. You don’t pair blinding white nurse shoes with a gauzey white-ish dress. And speaking of gauze, Mila’s much tanner than the model, which results in the white netting across her chest looking more like very visible illusion netting. There’s just a little too much bling around the shoulders, but we kinda dig the hair chains.
She hasn’t been dressing this princess-y for other pole-dancing appearances lately, but we’re gonna give her a little leeway on this one. She’s a Soviet-born baby and here she is in Moscow, 20 years after emigrating to America, coming back a great big movie star. If she wants to get her little-girl princess fantasies on for this particular occasion, we don’t blame her.
IN! Damn right, T Lo! You WERQ that Anastasia shit, girl!
OUT! That’s a bit too Degas for me.
The voting is still open on Kelly Rowland’s perfume bottle gyno dress. Opinions must be formed and stated firmly.
