Eric Dane never really did it for us. Clearly a good-looking guy, but he always came off a little too suave by half; daytime soap opera hunk looks and that’s never been our thing. While scanning the wires this morning, looking for post-worthy pictures, a tiny thumbnail of the following pic passed our eyes and we asked, “Should we? Enh. Let’s see if it’s worth talking about.”

Oh my! He has almost always done it for me. I have another pic from last year (Which may or may not be saved to my computer) that also has him walking around in sweatpants. And sans any undergarmet. It’s pretty obvious. I love a casual look…..

Uber woof!! Always preferred McSteamy to McSexy, but his character was such a two-timing sleaze ball that I kind of kept it to myself.

Someone pointed out a while ago that he looks like Marat Safin. Not as crazy and certainly not as Russian which were the two things that I always found most appealing about Safin, so Dane was kind of a lesser copy. Mostly because I get a rash whenever I think about anything related to a Shonda Rhimes show.

But he does look good here. And I like athletic pants, whether they’re sweats or track pants. Brings it all back to Marat, only this time Dane is definitely surpassing Safin.

The way he has things put together just shows that sweats in public doesn’t have to mean you look like a hobo. He’s polished, but relaxed looking (oh yeah, and drop dead sexy).
