Okay, we really liked how W styled Xtina for the July issue, but attention must be paid to the lady who shares cover space with her this month.

On her videos: “When I sing a song, I definitely have the image for the video in my mind. I kind of hear the choreography that will be in the video, and I can see how I’ll look, even before anyone—the record company, the director—has heard the song.”

On naming her album 4: “The fans have named the album 4, and four is my favorite number. It’s an important number in my life: the date of my birthday, my mom’s birthday, my husband’s birthday, the day I got married. Barack Obama is the 44th president, and I performed ‘At Last’ by Etta James at his inauguration.”

The interview’s only mildly interesting, but the pictures are FABULOUS. Seriously, the girl has a history of fierce, but she’s turned up the fierce dials to 11 with this one. It’s not just the fantastic styling and makeup; she really BROUGHT IT for the camera.

She does look amazing… That pic of her in the bra and glasses is now my desktop pic…but in some of those shots it looks like they elongated her legs and took out her eyebrows. She looks like other people – like Iman, Toni Braxton, Gina from “Martin”… but not Bey…

The fierceness is in the lighting, not in the look or the clothes. In the last pic her face almost looks like a marionette.

Don’t get the hate. She’s gorgeous, talented & drama free. A genuinely nice young woman. The photos are sexy, adventurous & beautiful. They’re 1 of the best spreads I’ve ever seen her in.

Not feeling the fierce. Beyonce is definitely a beautiful woman, and the clothes are amazing, but her expressions are pretty dull here.

I’m not a fan of her music, but I think she looks fabulous here. And yes, she’s photoshopped to within an inch of her life, but that is so much par for the course it is hardly worth mentioning. Fierce, indeed!

she makes the d/g green unreasonably shriek w/ the wonderful. good job. i’m not crazy about all of them, but perhaps the dazed crew got ahold of some of these in advance &, realizing they couldnt really do better, decided to not even try & instead make, like, w/ the drips?

i am not even gonna seriously gripe about the wretched photoshop in the final shot. compared to what they did to poor CA, it’s genius.

Beyonce is really not that great a model. She’s beautiful but she doesn’t evoke any positive response from me. I look at these and her previous editorial pictures and they just do not look scream glamour. Not inspiring at all.

My favorite is the shot of her in green Givenchy, with the dramatic lighting.

I thought her eye makeup was especially good in some of the shots.

Over all, I think the credit needs to be shared out with the team. (stylists, hair & makeup, lighting, photographer & photoshopper.) Everyone’s input is evident.

LOVE the sparkly Dolce and Gabbana dress. The photos are better on her Dazed and Confused cover, which was good but not as good as these.

Amaizing sprent, the girl BROUHT it and those clothes complement her persona pergectly and the lighting is dreamy.
And yes, she doesn’t look like herself, but as i see it, she is fotographed as a showgirl, and showgirls change theyre image acording to the role they’re playing, no? And in this photoshoot she played more than one role, and tha’s what i like about it. If you want to see the real Bey you must visit her at home!!

And a question: We’ve been seen a lot of hats latelly, are they comming back? I hope so, i love hats, i want the one she is wearing with the Givenchy and the polca dot one, they have a 30′s feel to them…

Her face does look a bit odd to me in some of them, and I’ve pinpointed it to the eyebrows, I’m almost positive. But she does look fierce! I’m always on the fence with her – neither love nor hate, but I do enjoy her 99.8% of the time. Dare I say, I think all of these clothes look better on her than the models? She looks wonderful.

She is a African American woman, right? Sometimes she seems to try and bleach her hair blond and skin is so light, it’s very nice to her skin close to it’s natural color. Celebrate your culture woman and stop selling out!
