I have more issues with the dress than the hair. I like the hair, if anything I think that it should be even bigger. but not too much bigger.

The ensemble is not working for me because there is something incongruent, like the hair is late 60s / early 70s and the dress is mid-late 70s / early 80s.

I debated whether it is the dress that I dislike or that I just don’t care for it on Sarah Jessica Parker, and I am leaning towards the latter, although it does not look horrendously bad on her. The dress just seems better suited for a Victoria’s Secret model or the sex kitten celeb of the moment. Also, interestingly, even though I am not crazy about the dress on SJP, it has made me interested in seeing more from the Halston Heritage label with which SJP is affiliated.

I am also curious about the make and model of the bra she is wearing.

this reminds me of her hair in that episode of sex and the city when she modeled in some fashion show and fell down on the runway. but that was kind of fab big hair, and this not. reason being, this kind of hair only looks good on models and only while they’re actually on the runway or in front of a camera. it has a shelf life of 30 mins, then it starts looking beat. obviously. did every friend and employee she has watch her kick a puppy while swinging a kitten around by it’s tail, making them hate her so much that they let her go out like this? i mean, what? it’s ridiculous, and totally unflattering. i can’t, and neither can any of you…OUT
