So the latest pretty face gives a boilerplate douchey actor interview and everyone gets upset for a day or two. Let’s listen in:

On his reputation: “I think my Wikipedia is full of bullshit because I actually don’t have anything cool or interesting to be said about me. I’ve heard I’m called a bad boy, or difficult—maybe that’s because I don’t take any bullshit.”

On L.A.: “L.A. is growing on me a little bit, but it’s still a shit-hole. I think it’s this insidious pool where nearly everyone lives in fear. Geographically it’s fantastic: in a half hour, you can be on the beach in one direction, go snowboarding in another, or go out into the desert. But socially it’s disgusting. I wish they’d just run all the cunts out.”

On the red carpet: “I really don’t give a shit about any of that. I wish I had some interesting stories [about living in L.A.], but to be honest I mostly just do my work and then go home.”

We can’t yawn hard enough whenever the latest fetus with a bad attitude comes along and this is no different. In fact, we read this infamous-for-ten-minutes-on-the-internet interview a couple of times, because we weren’t quite sure what everyone was so up in arms about. Oh sure, the crotch tattoo is especially douchetastic and the bitching about L.A. was certainly rude, but…how to put this? Let’s sum up the very worst we can glean about it and boil it down to a headline. Here goes: “Young, Good-Looking Actor is Arrogant and Rude.” Pfft. That doesn’t even count as “bad boy.” More like “naughty boy” or “cheeky boy.” Not worth getting upset over, we say.

So let’s look at pictures of him instead.

We were all set to point out that his extensive modeling career is why these are such great pictures, but the VMan article makes it clear his so-called career didn’t really amount to much. He’s just an innately good model. It helps he’s so pretty, but he has a pro’s understanding of posing and arranging themselves in the best way. Don’t get us wrong; it’s not like we think these are stunning or anything, just much better than the average actor guyditorial. The styling is boring and he’s not really given a lot to do, but he can sell a look in front of a camera. You can’t say that about most actors.
