Yea or Nay: Anne Hathaway’s Pixie Cut

You guys, a movie star got a haircut and didn’t consult us. Time to judge her for it. Here’s T Lo fave Anne Hathaway on the set of her new movie “One Day”, shooting on location in Paris. Apparently the haircut is for the role, but that’s no excuse. Anne should have checked in with us to make sure we were okay with it.

Fortunately for her, we’re okay with it. We can see that the pixie cut is going to be one of those things that Hollywood drives straight into the ground by making us sick of it. Before this is all over Betty White will have a pixie cut.

But we can’t help it, we have a fondness for the ‘do when it’s done correctly. We don’t quite think Anne has the perfect pixie face (see: Baccarin, Morena; Watson, Emma; Mulligan, Carey) and in fact, when we heard she’d gotten a pixie we assumed it wasn’t going to suit her because of her large features. We were wrong. She looks super-cute. We say YEA.

But man, that dress is distractingly ugly. We had to say it.

EDIT: Her rep confirmed it’s a wig. Anne, we just don’t know what to say anymore.
