Yves Saint Laurent Retrospective
Darlings, you better book your flight now, because the Yves Saint Laurent retrospective exhibition at the Petit Palais, Musée des Beaux-Arts in Paris ends later this month. If, like us, you find yourself unable to attend, here’s a little taste to make you feel like you did. Grab some coffee and a baguette, sit yourself down, and let the decades of fabulous wash over you.
“The Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent Foundation and the Petit Palais, Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris, present the first retrospective of Yves Saint Laurent’s life’s work. Around 300 haute couture and ready-to-wear models on display span the decades from the couturier’s debut at Dior in 1958, with the famous “Trapèze” collection, up to the sumptuous evening dresses of 2002. Numerous photographs and films illustrate the historical context, the development of Yves Saint Laurent’s style and the foundations of his work.”
