Glee at the Audi/Chopard Emmy Party

“HAHAHA!!! Emmys!”

Glee stars Jayma Mays, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch attended the Audi/Chopard Emmy kick-off party held at Cecconi’s Restaurant in Los Angeles, California. Our invitation was lost in the mail. Let’s be bitter party crashers and criticize their outfits.

Aw, they’re adorable. We have no bitchy comments to make. Love the glasses on Matthew. Her hair is a perfect complement to her Christian Cota dress. We wonder if they really enjoy each other’s company as much as these pictures imply or if it’s all for the cameras and they secretly loathe each other. Let’s speculate.

Morrison’s got about ten more minutes left on that look, though. And his vest is too small.

Okay, so we had a couple of slightly bitchy things to say.

It’s straight out of the “power lesbian” playbook and we have to say, that means it’s a little dated. Jane honey, there are so many ways to wear this sort of look and not have it look like it’s 1997 where you’re standing. A smaller collar, maybe. A softer shoulder. Any color other than that blue. Perhaps a more tailored jacket. There are things we can work with in the lesbian chic milieu but you’ve gotta meet us halfway, honey. We don’t even want to mention the Shirley Partridge hair. Shit, we just did.
