In or Out: Couture Claire

Everything looks good on her and her husband is cute. We hate her.

Darlings, like most of you, we woke up this morning and said aloud “I wonder what Claire Danes wore to the couture shows this week?” It’s really creepy when we talk in unison like that. At least that’s what we’re told.

Anyway, the last Claire post went over so well that we figured we’d triple the fun this time. Are you ready? Then we’ll begin.

We loved the bubble coat but we can understand why she didn’t wear it. Mainly because it’s hot but also because SHE’S hot. In this dress. The colors and the fit are fabulous.

We keep saying we’re going to start doing men (HA! “Start!”) in our IN or OUT posts. Check hubby in all three picture sets and you’ll see why that’s so difficult.

Hunh. We don’t love the collar on the runway, but it looks amazing on Claire. Except for the color, it’s got a Swingin’ ’60s, Sharon Tate kinda vibe to it, don’t you think?

J’ADORE this dress, but the length is killing us. Is she really dragging that across gravel? It wounds, kittens. The colors look great on her and that’s notable because that neon looks great on about .001% of the population.

Final tally: IN, IN, Sorta IN but too long on her.

As for hubby Hugh, do you see what we mean? He looks great in all three outfits but there’s almost no variation and little to talk about. Like most men, the color choices are black, gray and dark blue. He looks great. The clothes and fit look impeccable, but there’s not much else to say.

Still, they are a disturbingly chic-looking couple. All their friends secretly hate them.
