Performed in Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial at the Walt Disney World Resort.
What is your design training?
I am self-taught. I learned how to use a sewing machine while in college studying to be an actor.
What are your strengths as a designer?
I use my tailoring background to make pieces that are well-fitted and beautifully constructed.
What’s influenced your designs over the years?
Balenciaga, Dior, military uniforms, and my fiancee, the woman I’ve always made clothes for.
What’s your favorite material or fabric to work with?
I love to work with wool, particularly for coats.
Do you prefer patterns or solids?
Solids more often, because I’m usually creating a pattern in the way that I’m cutting the garment.
What are your favorite colors?
Green and gray.
Favorite designer from past seasons of Project Runway?
I liked Danny V’s work, as well as Santino’s and Jillian’s.

YEAH, ZOE! GET IN HIS FACE! TELL HIM HE SUCKS!
To be fair, the coat that transforms into a jacket is really nice. That, plus his personal style, plus his willingness to defend his work are more than likely the reasons he got picked, because his portfolio:
Is not good, poodles. Not good at all. We’ll give him props for “point of view” and we suspect he’ll be entertaining to a certain extent, possibly even controversial, so we’ll wait and see.
