i-D magazine celebrates The Best of British Icons in the fashion world by featuring the amazing Alek Wek.

We’ve got little to add to this one, kittens. There’s a reason she rose to the top ranks of her profession and it would be easy to assume that it was due entirely to her striking looks, but one look at these pictures confirms it: that girl is a freaking MODEL. She doesn’t just wear the clothes; she makes them sing for her.
