“Tim doesn’t really understand me as a designer.”
Oh please, honey. One stroll through your average vintage store is all anyone needs to “understand” you. And for all your self-puffing smack talk, why is it that
the tulle that Tim suggested you trim
mysteriously disappeared by the time mini-me walked down the runway?
It’s one thing to reject Tim’s advice and do things your way; it’s quite another to pretend to reject Tim’s advice and then do exactly what he suggested while putting him down for suggesting it.
Admittedly, Kenley’s definitely getting the bitch edit but one thing we’ve learned is those who get the villain edits always get them because they gave the editors the material to work with. We have no doubt that when all is said and done with Season 5, Kenley will stamp her feet and pout and claim that she’s nothing like the bitch we saw onscreen. You might as well zip it now, honey because no one is going to believe that one.
Alright, enough bitchtalk. Let’s talk about the dress.
Well, we can say it’s flattering to her figure. That’s a compliment, right?
We think the vest is a bit ugly and unnecessary and the belt or sash or whatever that is just doesn’t work at all.
And that print, like all the prints she picks, is fugly.
There was a lot of talk from the judges about how Veronica here “found” a mini version of herself but that’s bullshit. This girl’s personal style wasn’t anything like Kenley’s.
The fact is, she completely made her over to look like a mini version of herself. Frankly, that doesn’t say much for her skills as a designer.
It’s just another unimaginative ’50s retread from her. No matter who she wound up with as a client, they were going to get the exact same dress from her.
She’s just lucky she wound up with one of the nerdy girls from the chess club who was so thrilled that one of the popular girls paid attention to her that she would have done anything for her. Honey, she got what she wanted out of you. Don’t expect her to invite you to any slumber parties or sign your yearbook. The minute you turn your back on her she’s going to go back to calling you a dork.
Ugh. We’re so over her.
